The Skull Portrait is one of my most intricate pieces to date. A lot of love went into creating each petal, flower and the fine engravings of its quirky face. Inspiration for this piece came from victorian portraits and the lush details they present. A spooky spin brought this piece into fruitition for my first Halloween collection.
A couple of night moths flutter on the edge of the frame, while poppies bloom from its left eye. They signify light, life and new beginnings at every ‘end’. A fierce red garnet shines from the right eye which shields from negativity. May this piece lay gently on your chest while it faces your journey ahead.
The pendant comes on a bar link necklace, which is 45 cm/ 18 inch in length.
